The Keep the Ban Coalition is a group of local and state organizations working to maintain the existing ban on uranium mining in Virginia. More than 18,000 citizens have stated their support for the ban to the General Assembly, and over 100 government entities and nonprofit groups (that are not part of the Steering Committee) have expressed deep concerns about lifting Virginia’s 30-year ban on uranium mining.
