While the uranium industry spends tens of thousands of dollars on PR and lobbying, we the citizens of Virginia, must organize to have our voices heard.  Here are some things you can do to keep the ban on uranium mining in Virginia.

1) Sign Our Petition

We have over 18,000 supporters of the keep the ban campaign – help us reach 20,000.  Click here to sign our petition today!

2) Tell Your Friends

To reach our goal we need your help. Click here to send an email to five of your friends explaining the Keep the Ban campaign.

Request an action packet by mail by emailing dana@vcnva.org.  It will include fact sheets, petitions and Keep the Ban campaign stickers!

3) Communicate with Your Public Officials

Let your public officials know that you support the current ban on uranium mining in Virginia.  Write a letter, schedule a meeting or give them a call today!

4) Host a Community Awareness Event in Your Community or Church

Invite friends, family, neighbors to an event at your home or a local community space.  Email dana@vcnva.org to organize a Keep the Ban presentation in your community (be sure to include your name, phone number, email and location).

5) Attend a Local Keep the Ban Event
